This album is our set from the Empire Concert Club in Akron, OH on Friday, December 1st, 2017. We played this show with some awesome bands/artists: Johnny Neiman, Dead End Job, Three Vultures, and the Southside Choir Boys. Everyone at the Empire is awesome, but lots of credit goes to Eric Soudry who books us there again and again, and Kyle Clemenz for running sound as well as recording this.

Back in April, we planned to release an EP called "Paddle Your Own Canoe" with 5 songs on it. We recorded most of the EP, but things never just went quite right, the songs didn't sound the way we wanted them to, and we went through a lineup change during this process. As a result, we decided to scrap the recordings (except for Nightcrawler) and focus on writing new songs for an album we hope to put out in 2019. Since we didn't get to release this, we figured we'd put out a live set which includes all of the EP songs that never got released. Those songs are The Upside Down, Small Craft Advisory, Charlie's Song, and The Wrong. Long Strides is a brand new song, Propulsion and Tidal Wave are old songs, and the Modern Baseball cover is obvious.

This show includes all of our shitty jokes, screw ups, and hiccups that happen during a live show. It's far from perfect, and we're far from perfect, but we hope you enjoy this experience. We'll see you all very soon under a new band name and with lots of new tunes.
